Leader of Grimm Company, orginal crew of King's Mistress

King's Mistress ship bosum, a survivor of the shipwreck, and owner of Groo.  He is in his mid-thirties, has a small kept beard, and a serious, "I'm a sailor and you are not", kind of dementor.  He returns to Yorndale with many eager men and women looking to cash in on the once cursed City-State.  Somehow, he convinced the Lord of Artha that he could lead men on a scouting mission to Zinvar and establish some working presence both in Yorndale and Kælia.

A classical Harmoian beauty with proud, high cheek-boned features, light tan skin, long dark brown hair, and glittering blue eyes. Her 5’9” frame is so lithe as to seem almost fragile, but she moves with a supple dancer’s grace. Ranya is exceptionally courageous and strong-willed and takes joy in proving herself in battle to the glory of her goddess.  In order to better accomplish this task, the enterprising Ranya has assembled a party of like-minded adventurers, the Claws of the Lioness.

Yarl of Yorndale

The Jarl is a 45-year-old Talath man with some war history.  He stands just over 6’ and has muddy green eyes, a flat nose, and salt-and-pepper beard and long silver hair.  Since the Danarchian incursion into Miir two years ago, many of his warriors went away looking for work as sellswords, Halvor has lacked the manpower to truly protect his village. Halvor takes his responsibilities of the village seriously and strives to maintain peace and security within his Dale.

The wife of the Jarl is a beautiful 32-year-old woman with chiselled cheekbones and haughty demeanour. Ambitious and privileged, she had expected that the Jarl's ascension would bring more stability to the Dale and end a long-standing feud with Rakesdale over pastoral territory.  Instead of her husband taking a more offensive role in the dispute, he let many able warriors leave to fight a foreigner's war.  She has placed the couple’s two children with guardians along the coast of the Keyton river, knowing that Kellus, lord of the Keyton, will protect them.  Salena enjoys the flattery and attention she gets from admirers and is prone to throwing dinner parties with those that entertain her.  

Retired noble in excile

Once a promising knight in Artha, Malyn was left hideously crippled after an encounter with a Hippogriff. His self-imposed exile to the Dalelands has allowed him to leave behind all who knew him in his promising youth. A spiteful and brooding man, Malyn tends to take his personal misery out on everyone around him. The sole exception to this attitude is to Calder, Aros' son, who reminds of himself when he was younger and stronger.

Madam of Olive's House

Olive is a "professional" woman.  She is in her late twenties but already has a nose (and other body parts) for business.  She is pretty, maybe a bit on the thick side, with mid-length red hair, which is always kept up, when she is not "working".  Brycen is a washout, as far as she is concerned, but he did introduce her to Grimm, so all is well.  She has set up a tent in camp, and her three girls (Kat, Jallie, Santha) are available to take any recently found gold away from would-be adventures.
